
Hino Motors and Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus Corporation (MFTBC) have completed their business integration under the newly established listed holding company "Archion," and commenced operations under the new structure on April 1, 2026.
Reorganization of Production Bases (by the end of 2028): To pursue synergies and cost reductions through the integration, Archion is implementing structural reforms to consolidate its domestic truck production bases from the current five to three by the end of 2028. The three bases to be continued/consolidated are: Kawasaki Plant (Kanagawa Prefecture), Koga Plant (Ibaraki Prefecture), and Nitta Plant (Gunma Prefecture). Bases to be closed/transferred: Mitsubishi Fuso's Nakatsu Plant (Kanagawa Prefecture) will be closed and its functions integrated into the Kawasaki Plant. Hino Motors' Hamura Plant (Tokyo) will be transferred to Toyota Motor Corporation.
